Class Descriptions:
Beginning Cycling: Same class as cycling but at a lower intensity. Still a great workout using large muscle groups. Learn the moves and get your body in shape!
Core-N-More: Learn to work you deepest abdominal muscles. Includes fitball workouts and mat exercises.
Cycling: This class is for those people wanting the ultimate sweat! You will have a great cardiovascular workout with intervals using large muscle groups in the lower body and burn up to 500 calories in just 60 minutes!
Dance, Dance, Dance: Aerobic dancing where the instructor shows high and low impact versions of the movements for a fun energetic 60 minutes!
Fitball AKA "Having a Ball": The Fitball class is done using a large ball as a prop for your body while performing various exercises. These exercises are done with bands, bars, etc. and many are done with just your body weight. This class is often combined with a cardio class for a complete workout.
Pilates: This class starts with yoga flows to warm the muscles to prepare you for the Pilates exercises that will strengthen your core as well as the rest of your body. You will utilize the Pilates breathing technique to help intensify the effects of the exercises, increasing lung capacity and help you focus internally on all the exercise you do. Intermediate & Beg level classes. 60min.
Power Yoga: Challenging poses put together in a flow that involves repetition to help improve flexibility, strength, endurance, and balance for a full body workout.
PUMP: Ultimate strength training class with high energy music to give you a fun, full body workout.
Quiet Zone Yoga: This class combines basic yoga postures with strength and flexibility training. It ends with deep relaxation. All levels welcome! 75 minute class.
Reformer: The Reformer is a piece of equipment designed to help you stay in the best form possible to achieve strength, balance and flexibility while improving postural, back, hip, knee and foot problems and much more. 60 minute group class.
Senior Fitness: This class is designed for the more mature adult that needs a low impact, strength building and balance improving workout.
Step: Using a 4 to 6 inch step bench, working large muscle groups. Instructor shows both hi and low impact moves throughout the 60 minute class.
Twist: Pilates based strength & cardio class using props. Instructor shows exercise levels to personalize your workout.
Vinyasa Yoga: This class builds in power as you move through the yoga flows and somewhat difficult poses; you will leave feeling well and energized! 60 minute class.
ZUMBA: An aerobic fitness program that combines Latin rhythms with easy-to-follow dance moves to create a dynamic, exciting and effective fitness program. 60 minute class.
